Description

Our organic cotton brown summer tees are tie dyed using eucalyptus bark dye, 100% natural, collected by us in our local area, then hand screen printed with water based inks. This artisanal and handmade process has given every tee extra love and art, being slightly different to each other. Tie dye design is not identical for each garment.

100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, made with organically grown cotton certified by GOTS which means no hazardous chemicals were used for its production, helped in carbon, water and electricity reduction in its process, also contributed to giving fair working conditions to every person involved in the manufacturing.

100% Water based inks by Permaset.

100% chemicals free water base handmade dyes.

100% GOTS certified Organic Cotton Threads (sourced by SEW FOR GOOD).

Materials

This garment was designed, dyed and made by Carla at our Home Studio in Reservoir, north side of Melbourne. All the manufacture of this product is accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia.

Manufacturing

Labels

All our labels are made with 100% recycled yarn. Also all the materials used are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified which means our labels are certified to be free of harmful substances and safe to be used on items for babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age.

Packaging

This garment is packed in a ComPOLY, a certified home compostage bag made from corn starch, by The Better Packaging Co., to prevent them from being damaged, avoiding the greater environmental cost of a damaged item that becomes unsellable. Shipping bags and labels have the same characteristics.

Reusable and Home Compostable, will break down in 180 days.

Also, we use only in store 100% brown recycled paper bags.

We're proudly 100% Plastic free.

Care

This garment require extra love that regular ones. Machine wash with eco-friendly detergents and cold water preferable (up to 30°) to help the colours maintain their richness longer. Iron low temperature (up to 110°). We also recommend to air dry it and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
